1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AIDetector.ch (the "Service"), operated by Anandis GmbH ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

AIDetector.ch provides an AI content detection service that analyzes text to determine the likelihood it was generated by artificial intelligence. The Service uses third-party detection technology and provides results on a best-effort basis. Detection results are probabilistic and should not be treated as definitive proof.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Submit text that contains malware, harmful code, or illegal content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the detection algorithms.
• Circumvent any rate limits or usage restrictions.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent.
• Use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service.

5. Payment Terms

• All prices are listed in Swiss Francs (CHF) unless otherwise stated.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Subscription plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis. You may cancel at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Pay-as-you-go word credits are non-refundable and do not expire.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions remain at their current price until the next renewal.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Anandis GmbH. You retain ownership of any text you submit for analysis. We do not claim any rights over your submitted content.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, Anandis GmbH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

AI detection results are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of detection results and accept no liability for decisions made based on them.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, all your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
